We offer four standard Cancellation Policies. A vacation home owner will select a policy when they confirm a booking offer to a guest and this then forms part of the terms & conditions of the booking. Cancellation Policies clarify when a booking may be cancelled and the amount (if any) of a refund. They protect both the vacation home owner and the guest. The cancellation notice period that is required prior to check-in is expressed in days and the cancellation penalties are explained.In all guest cancellation cases, the standard RentalsWorldwide Booking Fee and Service fee pre-paid by the guest is non-refundable and an additional cancellation fee of 5% of the value of the booking is applied. The refundable amount is after these fees have been deducted.
Cancellation Period in Days before Check-in
60 Day Policy. Receive a 75%* refund when the Booking is cancelled up to 60 days prior to 3pm local check-in time.
To receive a 75% refund, the cancellation must be made online using the “Cancel Booking” button at least 60 days prior to the rental home owners local check-in time of 3pm. Any cancellation after that deadline will mean the entire stay is non-refundable.
A cancellation within the 60 day period prior to check-in is non-refundable.
A cancellation after check-in and prior to departure is non-refundable.
30 Day Policy. Receive a 40%* refund when the Booking is cancelled up to 30 days prior to 3pm local check-in time.
To receive a 40% refund, the cancellation must be made online using the “Cancel Booking” button at least 30 days prior to the rental home owners local check-in time of 3pm. Any cancellation after that deadline will mean the entire stay is non-refundable.
A cancellation within the 30 day period prior to check-in is non-refundable.
A cancellation after check-in and prior to departure is non-refundable.
No Cancellation/No Refund Policy.
Under a No Cancellation, No Refund Policy, full payment is usually required to reserve the property. The payment is not refundable under any circumstances. This type of policy is usually applied during peak periods or special bookings.
